Buckhurst Hill FC had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Neil Hudson, Member of Parliament for Epping Forest, to Myrak Park on Saturday for our thrilling victory against Barking FC. His presence seemed to bring the boys some luck, as we secured our first win of 2025 in dramatic fashion.
Dr. Hudson’s visit was more than just about football—he took the time to express his admiration for the club and the positive impact we have on the local community. His warm words were truly appreciated, reinforcing the vital role grassroots football plays in bringing people together and fostering a strong community spirit.
Of course, no visit to Myrak Park would be complete without sampling one of our famous cheeseburgers from the Stags Kettle. Dr. Hudson certainly enjoyed his, giving well-earned praise to Stacy for serving up such delicious food for our supporters.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Hudson for his time, support, and kind words. It was a privilege to have him at the game, and we look forward to welcoming him back to Myrak Park in the future.
