Buckhurst Hill FC Youth
The Young Stags
Our youth section has grown significantly since 2014, when our Mini-Soccer programme helped us launch three Under-7 teams. Many of those players progressed right through the age groups, with last season’s Under-18s including players who had been with the club since those very first Under-7 teams.
Today, we have 30 teams across our age groups, including an Under-18 team, competing in the ECGL, Eastern Junior Alliance, Brentwood Community and Echo leagues.
Our aim goes beyond enjoyment and player development. The pathway from youth football into our First Team is integral to the future of Buckhurst Hill FC.
That pathway is already producing success. Arthur Massingham was part of one of those original Under-7 teams and progressed right through our youth section. He has since become a key part of our First Team squad and scored the winning goal in the play-off final that secured promotion to the Isthmian League and Step 4 football.
We want more young Stags to follow that pathway — developing within the club, progressing into senior football and becoming part of the future of Buckhurst Hill FC.
