ENFIELD FC vs BUCKHURST HILL FC

The Stags will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday – but face a difficult away fixture at Enfield.
The E’s, managed by former Pro Jamie Cureton have made a strong start to the league campaign, having lost only once from their opening eight games. Their last outing on Tuesday evening saw them beat Woodford Town 2-1 which took them to the top of the table.
The Stags suffered a setback at Ilford last Saturday, but they did beat Enfield last season at the very beginning of their amazing Vase run this season.
Manager Mark Williams recently said in his programme notes that last season when the club were at Step 6 they often raised their game against Step 5 sides, but that now the team are in the ESL they have to raise their game every time they step onto the pitch.
The Stags need to replicate some of that Vase magic against the current leaders on Saturday as a Buckhurst Hill win would keep them up amongst the leading pack in the ESL.
