The Reserves this season will be playing in the Essex Senior South which is a fantastic platform for the youth players from our U18s to get ready for the Senior team. The team is managed by David Dowling, who works closely with the First Team so as to get his players ready for the Senior football. David was coaching the current Under 18”s up until under 16 but has moved up to the reserves to enhance the pathway opportunity and continue the development journey of the youth within Buckhurst Hill FC. Buckhurst Hill working hard to push the talent coming up through the youth team system into our first team.
Team MANAGER
David has been coaching at the club through the years from 2014 starting at Under 8 with players who are now part of the current Under 18s with James Lamb, who co manages the very talented BHFC under 18 EJA team.
Played at Semi pro level with Leyton pennant, Clapton, Ilford and Eton Manor, looking to use this experience to guide and develop the youth players into the men’s game.
Big focus on youth development to support the senior section of Buckhurst Hill football club.
