Pre-match excitement was in the air, but the Stags’ disappointing first-half performance meant that Billericay were two goals ahead at halftime.
Yet, the second half proved to be an extraordinary transformation as the young Stags turned on the style, and at full-time, the scoreline read 2-2.
And in an unbelievable conclusion, Buckhurst Hill triumphed with a 2-3 win after Extra Time, a fantastic outcome enhanced even more by the manner of the victory.
