BHFC u14 EJA 3 – 2 BSFC u14 EJA

Scorers: Charlie Cook ⚽️, Sean-Conor Atafo ⚽️, Teddy Plunger ⚽️

Our EJA U14s managed to rearrange their league game at 9 am yesterday morning and relocate to Chigwell Hall, and it proved to be a great decision.

They beat a resilient BSFC 3-2 on a heavy pitch, with the boys playing some great stuff. Teddy Plunger put in a MOM shift, and it was pleasing to see Noah Vincent-Cook making his awaited comeback after nearly 2 years on and off with injuries. Charlie Cook, Sean-Conor Atafo, and Teddy Plunger all scored for EJA, while BSFC scored two late goals to make the scoreline close.

With a tough away game at Ware next week, it was a much-needed win to keep us in the hunt.

Manager Paul Downes was delighted with the win: “It was a great performance from the boys, especially considering the early start and the heavy pitch. Teddy Plunger was outstanding, and it was great to see Noah back on the pitch after such a long time out. We’re now looking forward to the challenge of Ware next week.”
