What an extraordinary day for The Stags as they put an end to Tilbury’s 17-game unbeaten streak with a stunning 4-0 victory against the ESL Premier League leaders.

Mark Williams opted for a changed lineup, with Alex Reed starting in goal and delivering an incredible clean sheet, marking one of his finest performances in a blue and black shirt.

The visiting team, Tilbury, began strongly, and within 3 minutes, they had their first chance, which narrowly missed the target. It took only another 3 minutes for Alex Reed to make an outstanding save from a dangerous Tilbury set piece.

The next opportunity of the game fell to Buckhurst Hill, resulting in the opening goal scored by Shae Hutchinson, who later completed his hat-trick with three perfectly executed goals.

Tilbury created a few more chances in the first half until The Stags were forced into an early substitution, with Ethan Daniels making way for Max Nicholson due to an ankle injury.

Buckhurst Hill struck again just before halftime, with Moncur’s strike widening the gap to 2-0 in favor of The Stags. Just before the break, Reed pulled off yet another remarkable save. The Stags began the second half with intensity, and within 4 minutes, Shae Hutchinson added a third goal. A minute later, Reed made another crucial save. The Stags sealed the victory in the 72nd minute when Shae Hutchinson completed his hat-trick, claiming the match ball.
