Last Friday evening was one for the books at Buckhurst Hill F.C. as we welcomed Chloe and Sophie from Leyton Orient Women’s 1st Team to Myrak Park.

Their mission? To ignite the passion for the beautiful game in the hearts of the next generation of BHFC girls. The U9 Lionesses had a blast learning from these incredible players, who brought their A-game and infectious enthusiasm.

The event, a joint effort between BHFC and Leyton Orient Women’s Team, was a hit. Chloe and Sophie dazzled our young players with their skills and spent quality time with our players.

It was heartwarming to see the camaraderie and joy shared between everyone on the field. We’re grateful to the Leyton Orient Women’s 1st Team for their partnership and for making memories that our young footballers will treasure.

Speaking after the event, a spokesperson for BHFC expressed their gratitude to Chloe, Sophie, and the Leyton Orient Women’s Team for their invaluable contribution to the local football community. “It’s nights like these that remind us why we fell in love with football in the first place,” they remarked.

Moreover, they added, “It’s a pleasure to be able to allow Leyton Orient Women’s Team to play their first-team games at Myrak Park. Hosting such incredible talent not only elevates the profile of our club but also fosters a sense of community and camaraderie that is truly special.”

The highlight of the evening, however, was the heartwarming interaction between Chloe, Sophie, and the BHFC’s U9 Lionesses, alongside their dedicated coaches Layla and Kate. The Leyton Orient stars spent quality time with the young Lionesses, offering guidance, encouragement, and invaluable insights into the beautiful game.

For the young girls of BHFC, this unforgettable experience served as a beacon of hope, a glimpse into a future where dreams are limitless and the sky’s the limit. With the guidance and inspiration of their heroes from Leyton Orient, who knows what incredible heights they may one day reach? In fact, Sophie (on the right of our video) is actually one of our very own BHFC girls who got signed by The O’s last year! Something we are incredibly proud of and look forward to more girls moving on in the game.

With nights like these, it’s clear that the spirit of girls’ football is alive and well at Buckhurst Hill F.C. Here’s to more moments of inspiration and fun on the pitch! ⚽️🌟
