The Stags are back in action for a quick turnaround from our 1-1 draw against Great Wakering on Saturday and face Ilford FC in the 2nd round of the Errington Challenge Cup at Parkside Stadium, home of Aveley FC.

THE STAGS
Mark Williams’ Buckhurst Hill side picked up a vital point away to fellow title challengers Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday afternoon. The Stags advanced to round two of this competition all the way back in October after a 1-0 victory over Soul Tower Hamlets, the game in which started our unbeaten run.
THE VISITORS
Tonight’s visitors Ilford FC also drew on Saturday afternoon after they scored level with White Ensign at Cricklefields. Ilford have failed to beat The Stags on both occasions in the league this season.
GAME DETAILS
Monday Night’s game is scheduled to take place at Parkside Stadium, home to Aveley FC (RM15 4PX) and will kick-off at 19:45pm GMT.
The Stags will wear their away kit consisting of red and white while the visitors Ilford will wear their away kit also, containing yellow and white.
GROUND INFORMATION
Parkside Stadium is home to Step 3 side Aveley FC.
The nearest train stations to the stadium are Ockendon or Rainham station, which supporters are then advised to use a bus or taxi to get closer to the ground.
The pitch at the Parkside stadium is also a 3G artificial, which means there’s no pitch inspection and worries about the game being postponed !
