From Roding Lane to Kenya: BHFC Kit Making a Difference

🌍 Buckhurst Hill FC Kit Donation Reaches Kenya

By Alex Skamiotis

Buckhurst Hill Football Club are proud to share an update on the kit recently donated through Alec Berry of Essex FA, which has now successfully arrived in Kenya.

The donation has been received by Mumias Benzel School, where it is already making a real impact both on and off the pitch. The club have been sent some fantastic photos showing the kit being put to great use by players and the wider community.

One of the standout images features the captain of Kitengela Mamas, proudly wearing the Buckhurst Hill colours — a brilliant moment that highlights the global reach of grassroots football and the power of the game to bring communities together.

We were also delighted to receive a message of thanks from Madam Mildred, representing both the school and the local club, expressing their gratitude for the donation. It’s clear to see that the kit has been received with great appreciation and is already being used to great effect.

This initiative is another example of how football can extend far beyond the pitch, supporting communities across the world and making a genuine difference.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen — from those who donated kit to those who helped coordinate its journey.

The Stags, making an impact globally. 💙🖤
