Everyone at Buckhurst Hill FC came together on Saturday to congratulate father and son duo, Mark and Ollie Williams, on reaching remarkable milestones for the club.
Mark, who has led our First Team from the very beginning, took charge of his 200th senior game as manager—an incredible achievement that doesn’t even include the many matches he oversaw in lower divisions before we gained senior status.
Club captain Ollie Williams was also celebrating, marking his 100th First Team appearance. To see a player come through our entire youth system, earn the captain’s armband, and then reach 100 appearances is something truly special. It shows the next generation of Young Stags that with dedication, anything is possible.
Before kick-off at Roding Lane, Club Chairman Simon Cornwell presented both Mark and Ollie with commemorative trophies, as both sets of supporters joined in applause to recognise this fantastic moment.
A brilliant day for the Williams family—and for Buckhurst Hill FC.
